It is with great pleasure that I announce Thomas Smith as the next principal of Haven Middle School! Mr. Smith currently serves as assistant principal and has been an integral member of the Haven leadership team for the past five years. His appointment was approved by the School Board at last night’s meeting and he will officially begin in his new role as of July 1.

The championship game was a true seesaw game from start to finish — Chute would take the lead, Haven would respond and reclaim it, and the cycle continued. Throughout it all, both teams stayed positive and connected.

"Nonetheless, the game went into double overtime," Eshaya said. "We had our chances earlier to seal the deal, but missed a few key free throws at crucial moments. Still, we continued to battle in the second overtime and ultimately defeated our cross-town rivals, 67–57!"

Be Ready for E-Learning Days - As winter approaches, our goal remains to keep schools open for in-person learning whenever possible. However, in the event of severe weather or other emergencies, we may need to shift to an E-Learning Day.
